CATERING FOR KIMBERLEY ART PRIZE & PHOTOGRAPHIC PRIZE 2026

The Shire of Derby/ West Kimberley is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals and organizations to provide catering for the 55th Kimberley Art & Photographic Prize (KAPP) exhibition opening night and VIP event on Saturday, 4 July 2026.
Known as the longest running art prize in Western Australia, the Kimberley Art & Photographic Prize has been facilitated by the Shire since 1970. It began originally as a non-acquisitive prize until 1976, when the introduction of acquiring the overall winner was introduced. The Shire has hence added to its public art collection over the last 45 years via the acquisition of art works produced by some of the most talented artists in the region.
Below is a breakdown of catering requirements for the night:
- Serving of food between 5:30pm and 7pm
- Innovative finger food/cocktail style food
- Combination of hot and cold food
- Food style/design should be in keeping with the prestige of the occasion (Eye catching)
- Catering for an estimated 200 px. (Numbers to be confirmed 2 weeks prior to event)
If you have the relevant skills and expertise and believe you have what it takes to meet our catering needs, please provide your quote for services (including a sample menu and photo examples of food to be provided) by 4pm on Friday, 27 March 2026.
This is a contracted, temporary position taking place on Saturday 4 July 2026, with lead-up and pack down work required.
